Emily Walter - Queen of the West
Born in WI, frequently in NYC, but always at home in Medora, Emily Walter is excited to host this summer! Originally a Burning Hills Singer from ‘93-’95, her time in Medora spurred the portrayal of the legendary Patsy Cline in various tours and cities, beginning here on this very stage! With an M.F.A. in Acting from Mankato, MN, she’s spent her career playing Shakespeare to Annie Oakley, and recently toured, "Church Basement Ladies" with William Christopher (Father Mulcahy of M.A.S.H). Emily was lead vocalist and Sergeant with the U.S. Air Force SAC Band, is a Gulf War Veteran, and has worked with stars such as Bob Hope, Lee Greenwood and John Denver. She divides her professional time between land and sea, traveling the globe extensively as a Guest Entertainer with select cruise lines. You can find her latest CD “Falling in Love Again and Again” in the gift shops along with a genuine "Queen of the West" Tiara Cowboy Hat!

David Roberts - The Professor
David Roberts is gratefully returning to the Medora Musical this year. David was here for the first time last year,and had so much fun that he is back for more. David has been working as an actor for most of his life. He was in his first play when he was eight years old. David was born and raised in St. Paul Minnesota, where he now lives with his wife Patty and there two young sons. David studied theatre at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. A native of Nashville, TN, he has performed in many theater venues and shows in that area. He most recently was seen in very first cast of The Holiday Shrektacular at the Opryland Hotel and Resort under the production of Dreamworks Entertainment. He has done various musicals, also in the Nashville area, such as the regional premier of Fame Forever (JJ Byrd), A Chorus Line (Bobby), The All Night Strut! (featured singer), and Meet Me in St. Louis (John Truitt) to name a few. Much love to his family, especially his mother and father, for their everlasting support, and his girlfriend, Faith. He will be attending Point Park University in the fall to study musical theater. Enjoy this fantastic show and many blessings!

He received a BFA in Musical Theatre from Sam Houston State University, and since then has performed in all the lower 48 states (and is still trying to check Alaska and Hawaii off the list). Credits include; The B'way National Tour of The Drowsy Chaperone, National Tour of The Wizard of Oz (Scarecrow, Dance Captain), Tour of Fiddler on The Roof, Like You Like It (Phil, TX premier at TUTS Houston),White Christmas, Drowsy Chaperone and 9 to 5 The Musical with P.E.G to name a few. Mark currently resides in NYC. Enjoy the show!

After graduating from Gustavus Adolphus College with a degree in Music Education, Misti taught band for four years and then earned a master’s degree in Theatre Arts from the University of North Dakota. She has been “on the road” since then touring with Jesus Christ Superstar in 2008-09, ArtsPower’s children’s musical Harry the Dirty Dog in 2010, and most recently performing at the Smith Family Theater in Pigeon Forge, TN. For Mom and Dad; their constant love and encouragement. For Gram – my kindred spirit, now in heaven. And for my new niece, Sydney.

Most Recently, Parish has danced her way on top of the Mediterranean with Carnival Cruise Lines, and can be seen as a Tap Demonstrator in Cathy Roe’s production video: Intermediate/Advanced Tap Routines with Lyn Cramer. Favorite performing credits include: 42nd Street (Anytime Annie); The Rocky Horror Show (Janet Weiss); Disney’s High School Musical 1&2 (Sharpay Evans); The Producers (Usherette). Originally from Oklahoma, Parish is proud to announce that she now resides in Bismarck, ND. She wants to thank her family and friends for their continuous love and support.

Chad is also bandleader and banjo player for the bluegrass band, Three Card Mountain, which is composing and recording for a new album due out this fall. But for now, let’s do this wild west extravaganza…for the ninth time!

Amberly Rosen (Fiddle)is known for her eclectic musical repertoire and contagious smile, violinist Amberly Rosen has been playing violin since the age of three. She grew up in Eugene, Oregon and attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. This is her second summer in Medora and she is happy to be calling it home again! Amberly has performed styles of music including classical, American fiddle, Celtic, Balkan, Mediterranean, and Scandinavian folk music. The last few years she has played in mulitiple tribute shows about Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, and Hank Williams and toured with the Irish singer and harpist Orla Fallon, formerly of Celtic Women. Crawdad played for several years in the Minneapolis area in jazz and blues combos like “Three Card Monte” (featuring Medora piano legend Chad Willow), with blues legend Cornbread Harris, and he performed over 300 shows of Forever Plaid for Troupe America across the nation. You can also see him in the bluegrass group Three Card Mountain. Jason is proud and thankful to be here sharing the “Medora Magic” with you.

He also enjoys playing with Ross William Perry, Porkchop, Mary Cutrufello, The Robinson Caruso Organization, and Tree Party when he is home.

More recently, as a multi-instrumentalist, he has had professional engagements playing guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, trumpet, banjo and mandolin, as well as dabbling as an actor, singer, musical director and arranger. Mike also enjoys teaching, and is currently on staff as a guitar instructor for Youth Services at the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle, PA. His true passion, though, is being a guitar hero, and he could not be happier to be a part of Medora 2012.

Originally from London, Roger turned pro in 1959 and spent the next few years playing guitar with many big names of the UK music scene (Marty Wilde, Joe Brown, Eden Kane, Billy Fury) and touring alongside the Beatles, The Hollies and the Rolling Stones. He graduated to studio work in the ‘70s, then took up pedal steel guitar. He appeared on countless recordings, TV shows and commercials as well as playing numerous West End shows. He performed with Tom Jones, Duane Eddy, George Harrison and his boyhood idol, Lonnie Donegan! Roger emigrated to the USA in 1998 and continues to get his living doing the best job in the world. He now lives in Naples, Florida and is delighted to be returning to the Medora Musical for the eighth time!

She has been in great stage management teams at Northern Stage and Merry-Go-Round Playhouse. She most recently finished Directing Church Basement Ladies with Encore Productions out of Syracuse NY and before that Stage Managed her second national tour of Church Basement Ladies Christmas She has a BA in Theatre from Suny Potsdam and is an EMC candidate with Actor's Equity. She would like to thank Patrick Lanczki for being the greatest mentor a stage manager could ever have and her mom for never giving up on her. She would also like to thank her wonderful cast, band, and of course the production team.
